Body Massage Course - Online Theory plus Practical Training
Massage can help clients to de-stress, improve circulation, and reduce pain. Providing a massage treatment can be both beneficial to the client and the therapist and can lead to an incredibly rewarding career. The GTi Body Massage course covers massage techniques, a full body massage routine and the preparation you need for the treatment.
The GTi Body Massage course includes the GTi Professional Standards course.
All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available followed by a practical training day and assessment here at the school. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate in Body Massage. The GTi Body Massage Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.
Once you have booked your training course and paid the enrolment and theory fee of £25, you will be able complete the theory modules for the course right away. This fee includes your student membership for 3 months. The Guild consider this sufficient time for student's to complete the online work, however, if you have not completed the modules within this timeframe, you will be required to pay them £25 to extend for another 3 months or upgrade to full membership. Reflexology is a wonderful gentle , non invasive therapy which helps the body to balance and heal itself. It is carried out by applying gentle pressure of reflex points in the foot which correspond to areas and systems of the body as well as the clients emotional health which in turn brings an overall feeling of well-being and relaxation.
This course will teach you the skills that you need to know in order to carry out a professional reflexology treatment. The theory is completed online at home in your own time before a practical training session is taken here at the school. The GTi Foot Reflexology course covers all the necessary anatomy and physiology which you will need to know in order to perform a reflexology treatment and so you do not need to hold a separate anatomy and physiology qualification. Indian Head Massage Course -Online Theory plus Practical training
This course requires both theory and practical training. You will study the theory online, but you will be required to attend an accredited training centre for the practical training.
This course covers the technique for upper back, shoulder, upper arm, neck, scalp and face massage. It also includes the theory behind Indian Head Massage such as the history of the treatment, principles of ayurveda, marma points and chakras. The course includes resources with clear diagrams and images. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. Photographs and videos ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform the Indian Head Massage.
You will have the opportunity to practice the routine on friends and family before you attend the practical and assessment here at the school at a time to suit you.. Ear Candling- OnlineTheory plus Practical training
Ear Candles are a popular treatment for those with sinus problems, glue ear and wax. The candles work using the process of convection. The burning of the candle helps to draw softer waxes and toxins from the ear. Some of these are then oxidised or turned into vapours and burnt. The warm air from the burning candle passes into the ear canal before being gently drawn back up to the top of the candle in a chimney effect. The warm air containing the herbal extract vapours from the candle helps to soothe and invigorate the ear.

This treatment is carried out with the client fully clothed on a massage chair.
