Ear Candling- OnlineTheory plus Practical training 

Ear Candles are a popular treatment for those with sinus problems, glue ear and wax. The candles work using the process of convection. The burning of the candle helps to draw softer waxes and toxins from the ear. Some of these are then oxidised or turned into vapours and burnt. The warm air from the burning candle passes into the ear canal before being gently drawn back up to the top of the candle in a chimney effect. The warm air containing the herbal extract vapours from the candle helps to soothe and invigorate the ear.

The GTi Ear Candling course covers how to give a full ear candle treatment and covers the history, technique and aftercare of the treatment.

The course also covers reception and consultation, and contra-indications to treatment. It also includes detailed technique modules which show you how to carry out an ear candle treatment.

The course is written and accompanied by images and diagrams to give you the best possible learning experience. All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.

The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body, for membership and insurance purposes. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a full-colour certificate for a GTi Award in Ear Candles. This course also includes the GTi Professional Standards course.

Once you have booked your training course and paid the enrolment and theory fee of £25, you will be able complete the theory modules for the course right away. This fee includes your student membership for 3 months. The  Guild consider this sufficient time for student's to complete the online work, however, if you have not completed the modules within this timeframe, you will be required to pay them £25 to extend for another 3 months or upgrade to full membership. Upon completion of the course you will be able to obtain membership and insurance with the Guild. 

GTi Student Membership allows you access to the GTi training courses you are enrolled for up to 3 months and includes a number of other online Guild services. It does not include insurance. Once you have completed your GTi training course you can save £10 when you upgrade to Full Guild membership with insurance.
