Diploma in Seated Acupressure Chair Massage 1 Day Course

This treatment is carried out with the client fully clothed on a  massage chair. This makes it popular with mobile therapists who wish to offer their services in a workplace environment, festivals, pre and post flight passengers at the airport, conventions and other events. It can also be useful in a salon for those clients who do not wish to remove their clothing or just want a quick treatment to relieve tension.

Employers are finding that it is beneficial to staff morale and productivity when they provide this treatment to employees.

It is a meridian based therapy where pressure is applied to meridian points with the use of the fingers, fist, thumb, knuckle or elbow. It is gentle and non-invasive. The techniques help to relieve muscle tension, reduce stress, stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory systems  and leaves the client feeling relaxed.

Benefits of Seated Massage, massage techniques & routine, contra-indications, Health &Safety and relevant Anatomy & Physiology.

Upon enrolment, students will have immediate access to the course work and supporting videos. The videos show the steps in the routine which will be demonstrated at the practical training. Students must complete the online work prior to attending the course. Students will receive their certificate on the day, following a successful practical assessment.
